The weekday ride got faster, friendlier, and slightly less predictable than anyone intended.
Midweek Worlds is still the quickest way to find out how your legs are doing and whether your friends plan to show mercy.
The route works because it leaves room for both moods: the rider chasing a hard hour and the rider who came for effort, stories, and a good landing spot after.
That balance is probably the point. Team Lager has never been about choosing between race pace and party pace when we can keep both in play.
